Chiqui Eusebio - OcinarFor Chiqui, expression is transforming her thoughts, observations and understanding into visual representation through sketches, painting, and photography. In her first few years as an artist, she was attracted to Impressionist Art, getting her inspiration from the likes of Edgar Degas, Paul Cezanne, Edouard Manet and Auguste Renoir.
She liked her painting with brush strokes worked coarsely and with energy. Details are put in the main subject, while the rest are impression of what they are supposed to represent. It is important that she set her mood before getting down to work. She listens to music and browse art books. Meditation and prayer also does her a lot of help. By then, she will look for a subject of her interest. Being the eldest in the Eusebio-Munoz grand children, Chiqui watched his grand father, Jose Eusebio Sr. (1st Generation member of Pasig Art Club), with awe in every master painting that he did, that is why he is the foremost reason why she love her craft. As an artist, Chiqui is a lover of life, which is prominently portrayed in most of her paintings. Her collegiate years was spent in the College of the Holy Spirit, where she took up Fine Arts majoring in Advertising. At present, she is a member of the 2nd Generation Pasig Art Club. "I put into canvas things that strikes me, the essential or from a memory. It is through art that I find my way to share what I feel in my heart". |
